walter; I do it all the time. I use the quick time pro app to record. what you need to do is find a sighted friend in person or via Skype who can help you figure out how to set your monitor so your face will be roughly in the middle of the screen. I had a friend named robin hallett who did this for me a few years ago and i still use the guide i created after talking with her. one tip though be sure that you turn the lights on in the room before pressing record. and i don't have to tell you to do a few test recordings to check your audio levels. from what i hear online people are more tolerant of video that is a little off center than they are of audio that is too loud too soft or has to many interruptions from outside noise. and remember the most important thing no one is perfect. even the sighted people who have lots of help and who have recorded many videos still have to get to a point where they go that could have been better but trying to make it better is a waste of time. good luck, max
