So one question is where do you want your smarts? If you're going with
an AppleTV, do you really need anything but a dumb display? Unless there
is something that you're itching for on the TV itself then you might
want to save your money and let AppleTV be your TV's brain. That said,
AppleTV doesn't work as a tuner so if you want the TV to do that for you
then it might make sense to have a spoken UI on there.

an go the Nexus Player route or chrome cast and go via droid. Keeping it on
topic for here though Apple TV is very good you might just go with that and buy
