Hi Paul,
when you're finished with your dictation, try a 2-finger double-tap and
that should end it, while keeping you in whatever field you were
inputting text in.

Is there a VoiceOver friendly gesture to end dictation? the guidance on
dictation is to tap the done button on the virtual keyboard but dictation seems
to turn the VoiceOver volume down so that I cannot easily find the done button.
So I have been ending dictation by pressing the home button. that certainly
ends dictation but takes me out of the App I am using and I then have to get
back to that App. Is there a better way?
