Hello Paul, I’ve just done a bit of experimenting using a DRM-protected book. Although Shift plus Arrow Keys selects text, Cmd-c doesn’t copy it to the clipboard. However, You can make VO read a paragraph with VO-p then use the VO command VO-Shift-c to copy the last spoken phrase to the clipboard and it works. The largest chunk of text I could do this with was a paragraph. The Next Page command doesn’t seem to work in iBooks. This is on my Mac running the latest El Capitan.
