Yeah. There may be more to it but I am not sure even 16 is enough but it might also be the cpu I have which is dual core I think.

this Mac from the Apple menu.

   If 4 is enough to run both OS X and Windows, I have no idea. I also have no 
idea how many windows can be open at one time but there has to be a limit 
somewhere.
