That is exactly what happens and the command-tab trick resolves that. For me anyway. No other issues after that.

Actually, that's not helping. It's not a matter of the app not getting
focus, it's a matter of the html area not loading with its content. I
just tried again, and I still can't get the main page to load which
comes up by default when the app is launched. I presume this is the
featured tab. This said, search results are working correctly unlike
before, so, yeah... who knows.

What happens if you command tab to another app then back to the app
store? This seems to be an El Cap thing.

Hello.
Is anyone noticing that effective 6:43 eastern US time, the mac OSX ap
store isn't loading? I bring the app store up from the Apple menu, but
the html area doesn't load. I tried also performing an app search from
the toolbar, but that's not working either.
Yes, the mac is definitely online, and yes, I did try deleting the PList
file associated with the app store, as sometimes that helps, but not in
this case. I've rebooted my router, which did no good, and I've also
rebooted the mac which did no good. The only thing I've not yet tried,
which I'm about to is to power cycle my modem.
Anyway, is anyone else who may be up early experiencing this?
Chris.
