I am on a quest to eliminate a wicked noise when using my mixer via USB port on
either of my Apple computers, a MacBook Pro mid 2012 or an iMac, 2014. I’ve
narrowed it down and the noise is coming from the USB connector. It’s the cable
between the mixer and the computer and one end is USB while the other is square
like a printer cable and goes into the mixer. I’m curious to see if a standard
printer cable will work but if not, and I don’t blow up everything trying, are
there shields, like Ferrite beads, you can attach to cables to prevent this
situation?

Anyone else have this issue?
