Both JAWS and Macintosh do use the same basic underlying protocol for remote 
windows. My brain is forgetting the name right now, but it is an open source 
package, so I would expect that NVDA would use this to. Now the hard part would 
be routing the voice over to the remote controlling machine, I would think that 
Sound Flower or a Rogue Ameoba software might b able to do this. Also, I have 
talked to the accessibility coordinator at a large learning system company that 
would love to add the ability to hear screen reader be able to be linked into 
their web conferencing package. So for any programmer types out there who have 
spare cycles. This is probably something if developed could be sold.
