Well, just tips and tricks to make jobs easier on the Macintosh. It is not supposed to be for programmers.
The Sample chapter available on the Website, which is the only one I have read talks about using tags and spotlight to find work you need. They suggest for example that when you save a recipe on your computer that you add tags perhaps one tag for each primary ingredient and then one tag called recipes. You can then use smart folders or spotlight to find all chicken recipes with garlic. There are also coupons at the end of the book for a few automation tools like text expander. What I hope to be able to do is to do some of the same kinds of wI would love to be able to for example on Numbers have a program that recognises that a specific column is a row total and be able to do a hot key to read that total. Another personal grievance I have right now is my banking site has a bunch of buttons between the amount column and the merchant field. In some screen reader, I could mark that merchant field as being a row header and then be able to quickly follow my money tracks. I have not found a way to do this with a Website on a Macintosh. I f you can reduce a daily activity that takes 5 minutes to just one or two by creating macros or tools you have saved 25 hours in a year!
