No, you have to insert a sim, even a blank one will work it's just to make the

Thanks. I found it but I now have another dumb question. iTunes says there is
no SIM card in the phone and that I need to disconnect it, insert a SIM card
and reconnect it. Is there a way to set it up as an iPod without having to have
a SIM card?

Thanks,

Gabe
