Hi,

If you do indeed have an Apple wired keyboard, then you would have either of
two models. If you have the smaller one without the NumPad, then the FN key is
in the lower left corner of the keyboard. If you have the Apple Extended
keyboard with the NumPad, then the FN key is in the group of six keys above the
arrow keys, where you'd find the Page UP/Down, Home/End and Insert/Forward
Delete. I believe that it's where the Insert key is on a Windows keyboard,
although I'm still away from home so don't have an extended keyboard to
confirm with. You could use the Keyboard Practice command to confirm where
keys are on your keyboard. To activate Keyboard Practice mode, press VO-k.
This will make VO announce the key that is pressed. If you hold down the VO
keys at the same time, a description of what that key combination will do will
be announced. So, for example, if you pressed the letter "j", VO would
announce "j" followed by "Jump to linked item" as well as a bit more
descriptive text. To stop Keyboard Practice, just press the Escape key in the
upper left.

HTH.

Hi. How do I turn the system volume up on my Mac Mini as F12 isn’t working. I
don’t have the FN key on this wired Apple keyboard.
