Is there a way to revert back to the current production release if one tried the beta and found it too buggy? I know if I stick it on my watch, for all intents and purposes, it's a beta device forever forward that would no longer be able to be legally sold to someone else if I should decide to get the watch 2 or whatever they have up their sleaves next down the road. I wanted to dabble around with it to see if the Airplay bugs with VO will end up fixed where VO has an affinity to default to airplay if it is on at the time you tripple tap home. That causes other goofy issues with my stream programs flipping back to the phone internal speaker if I skip a song or flip channels at times, and then the not so good ducking bug to keep the device receiving airplay at low volume until you restart VO. I would almost use VO through Airplay if Apple could figure out reduction of the delay to a tolerable level. I'm not entirely sure why they need about a second or two of delay on a home wifi network that has little other activity going while I listen to stuff through it. We probably have a ways to go in technology evolution before we could have unnoticeable delay to speakers on a network. ----- Original Message ----- From: "christopher hallsworth" <challswor...@icloud.com>

No we can’t, but the question looks ok.

The public beta is for anyone with an Apple ID. It costs nothing unlike the developer betas which are at no additional charge once you pay the $99 annual fee to gain access to them.

We can't really discuss anything about the beta, may on this list will tell you otherwise, but the terms say you can't, and I intend to abide by them.

That said, you can learn more about how to get the public beta from

http://beta.apple.com

if I'm not mistaking.

How can I find out more about the public beta and can anyone download it?
Does it cost anything?
If this is offtopic please write me offlist.

I can't really go into any specifics, but I'll just say in my opinion, the iOS 10 beta even from the first day I got it with WWDC paid devs, was probably the most rock solid most stable beta I think that I've ever seen!

If anyone is saying iOS is a mess, they really need to look at things more objectively.

Hi. I haven't read the whole article mainly because I can't open a reader window, but from what I've read, it seems like it's a total whine fest. I mean, has the guy used beta software before? It's called "beta" for a reason. There will be bugs, but who's to say that these bugs will remain in the next beta or even this fall? If you can't stand the bugs, don't install the beta. Plain and simple.
