I don’t have a specific starting point but i do have a general over all
suggestion. If she is a windows user I find at least that total emersion is
the only way to go. Look at learning a new computer like learning a new
language. It’s very difficult to continue using one OS while trying to learn
another so the best thing I an suggest is to totally drop the windows device
and struggle through up front. Each day things become easier and you can
relearn things like muscle memory for the different keyboard commands so you
are working more rapidly and directly with the new environment instead of
jumping from one to the other and back again. It’s really a very similar thing
to learning a new language where you are best going to that place and dropping
your self in the middle. If you want to learn French for example go to France
and submerge your self in all French speakers instead of going to French class
and then going back home where you speak English. Same with learning any new
technology. After you get the hang of the new environment and it becomes
second nature you can bring back in the old and be proficient at both.

Just an over all suggestion.

Good luck
