I'll add my +1 here, too. I'm hoping to get the 13-inch MBP with touch bar. I
agree with David's comments re the importance of blind users figuring out how
to stay current, and also with his statement about how well Apple has
demonstrated its commitment to keeping technology accessible. Not saying there
won't be some hiccups at the beginning, but I'm confident that the blind users
won't be left out of touchbar access. And, I also have to say that I'm
genuinely intrigued by the touch bar concept. Looking forward to seeing
first-hand how it works.

I currently have a 2013 11-inch MBA. I'll upgrade from 8 to 16GB of ram, and
get the fastest I7 processor. (I don't upgrade every year, so want my new Mac
to stay viable for as long as possible.) Haven't yet decided how much storage I
want.
Cheers,
Donna
