Does it have to be Airplay? If not, I'd really suggest two Play1 speakers from Sonos, and right now, until the 31st of December, they're even on sale, and yes, they can be controlled with an iOS device, and of corse are completely wireless.

What would you advise to use to set up in an accessible way for a kitchen system, not terribly expensive, two speakers so that I can airplay to them and control them with Voiceover from an ipad or iphone? I'd obviously like as good a quality but can't spend an awful lot either. Any tips/suggestions?
