If you want to take this a step further, just install the TV guide app on your 
phone, find the channel you want, and see what is currently on.  That way when 
you go to the direct TV now app, and it reads a show, you will know what 
channel it is.  For me, I know what comes on most channels, so not a deal 
breaker for me.  To me that is not lowering my standards, but dealing with what 
I have at present, JMO.
