I've thought about upgrading to an SSD for my 2010 macbook, but I probably won't for a couple reasons. First, apparently upgrading the firmware on SSD drives that are not provided by Apple is next to impossible with mac OS, Apple does not provide the low level access to the hardware that developers would need to do this. Second, I can't say for sure, but I'm guessing that Sierra may be the last operating system that will work with this mac, which means I would be upgrading next year to a new laptop next year, probably a macbook air, so I may not have this macbook long enough to make it worth the upgrade. The SSD drives are awesome though, my girl friend's macbook pro literally boots in about 5 seconds. > On Dec 30, 2016, at 5:24 PM, Sarai Bucciarelli <sarai.bucciare...@gmail.com> > wrote: > > > Hi guys: > Well, I finally received my Mac Batttery and 750GB SSD.
