Hi Donna,

Raspberry pi (pi as in the ratio of the circumference to radius of a circle and 
all that), is what we’re talking about.  A raspberry pi is a small, credit card 
sized PC on a board that you can program yourself.  It uses a micro SD card for 
file storage / disk and includes 1GB of memory, a quad core ARM processor, 
video processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, Audio, 4USB and an ethernet port.  In the 
case I have for it the whole thing is about as big as a deck of cards.  I have 
a full featured phone system and fax server on mine.  They also include a 40 
pin I/O port that you can break out for other devices like serial lines, 
printers, extra fans, and so on and so forth.  Cost is about $35 for a pie and 
you can get in to full kits for $70 or so on Amazon.
