Totally agree with you. that’s nott that bad. I have a 5.1 sound system that cost more than those $700 book shelfs. They are about $3500 . also have a Samsung oled which I paid about $6500 back in the day.

Think about the higher and bookshelf speakers like BMW. Or other high-end makers of speakers. If these are in that class, then that's a whole different thing than what you get from something like the echo, which sells for about half the price I guess, but isn't all that special. It's also not all that smart, and the skills are, in my opinion, a pain in the butt, because they are very reliant on the Alexa app, plus you have to actually find them. It's not intuitive.
