Everything is noticeably quieter on the AirPods when compared to the
earbuds that came with my phone or any other headphones. VoiceOver,
music, and videos all sound a little muffled. When I have the volume
turned up to maximum with the stock earbuds, sound is loud enough to
hurt a little, but the AirPods never get this loud. Volume Limit and
SoundCheck are both disabled in my music settings. The AirPods are
sufficiently loud in most cases, but not if I am trying to watch a TV
show on a bus or train. I have tried brushing the AirPods and wiping
the mesh area with a pointed object as Apple's phone support person
recommended. I am using a 256 gig iPhone 7 Plus.
