Before the X was released, I had been thinking I would buy it, so that I could keep my 7 and use it as an iPod. My current iPod is a 5th Gen Touch, and it's gotten so slow that I've come close to hurling it at the wall more than once. Last night, after my husband and I went to the VZ store, he told me that if I wanted the X, he'd give it to me for Christmas. So, given the iPod situation, I decided to go for it. I figure if I'd bought an iPhone SE, which was the other option, it would have cost as much, and I would have gotten a device that was inferior to my 7.
