I to was a linksys fan until belcon took them over from cisco,

 Since then I've used fritzbox and now that I'm changing providers I wish to 
supply my own routerr device for my fibre connection,

 The netgear night hawk range  have peaked my interests as hav a couple of 
draytech devices however the dray tech are a bit more costly.

I can get the AC1900  as ET has mentioned for 310.00 NZD,
But need to confirm vpn accessibility before pressing the purchase button.

The technology isn't the very latest, but I'm very satisfied with my Linksys 
WRT1900ACS.

I was by no means satisfied with the default Linksys software, however.
That software UI left a lot to be desired from the accessibility point of view.

However, I didn't buy this box to run it's native software. Installing and 
configuring lede, a spin of of OpenWRT, was my goal, and lede continues to meet 
my needs both on functionality and accessibility:
