Hello, Take a look in your library directory. I am not sure if it will be in the extensions subdirectory which is where kernel extensions live, or in the LaunchAgents where programs that start when you login are, or in the LaunchDaemons where programs that are scheduled to run on startup or on network connection or at regular intervals are located.
Most of the files in these directories have names like com.Company.application.subsystem.extension Two notes about this: 1. There are three Library folders on the standard Macintosh computer OS, /Library/ /System/Library and ~/Library. 2. It appears kernel extensions actually do not follow the above rules, and I believe they need a config file probably in LaunchDaemons have commands to specifically load kernel extensions. I believe your original message mentioned a driver for a graphics device so it is possible that you have a kernel extension. Several folks on this list have recommended using AppCleaner or an equivalent cleanup utility . This would probably help you with your issue, though I have never tried to use AppCleaner enough to know if it still works when the original program has already been removed. > On Apr 3, 2018, at 10:08 AM, Bill Holton <bill32...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Hi. > Whenever I start my Mini I get an error saying that an extension was > attempted to be loaded.
