Yeah I can't say I'm a fan of the new boards either,

 I really don't like the way they feel when typing on them.

Problem I have is that I'm probably going to end up with one as a work machine 
in the next few months.

Lots of complaints all over the internet about the new butterfly keyboard on 
the latest Macbook’s specifically complaints about keys getting stuck as seams 
to be your case.

I can’t exactly remember what Apple recommends for cleaning it, but they 
actually have support articles on this. I think they recommend trying to clean 
it out with compressed air, maybe just double check.

If a Apple store isn’t too far from you and you still have Apple Care on the 
machine, then just take it to them to clean out.

Personally I hate those new keyboards and I dread the day when I have to 
upgrade my MBP to a newer one because of the keyboard.
