I would  add, consider the sources.
as noted below, those sending false e-mails, bugs, etc., are getting more and more sophisticated.
Especially as your e-mail address becomes a part of public records.
If you have a spam filtering program, use it on the e-mail if possible before removing it.
As for if I at least  am getting these...scores daily smiles.
