Then probably your best bet is to use a WordPress or Drooble environment. Is 
the web site mainly going to be content, or are you wanting to sell items or 
schedule events? 

So in general the first step is consider all the features you would like the 
page to do, and then you can start considering candidates. If you are just 
putting out a place people can find out about your business and maybe download 
samples of some content, then you can probably get away with just a linux 
server and some basic HTML though it will not look as nice as some sites unless 
you can get a designer to manipulate CSS for you.

For that matter, I recently heard of a place that had the name coffee in it 
that was supposed to be a way for people to contribute to artists. I expect 
such a site will essentially be free, though you won’t have a personal domain 
and the site itself would take a percentage of your money.
