Hi every body.

I’m having an issue and hopefully someone out there has a solution…

I just bought a new Mac book pro after selling my aging iMac.

I am using my focus rite Saffire pro 40 firewire interface. I am using
a thunderbolt three to thunderbolt two apple adapter and then a
thunderbolt two to firewire adapter.

The saffire mix control install went fine but the interface is not an
option in audio midi setup.

I haven’t setup a new Mac for quite a while and I wonder if I’m missing a step?

IF I go into system profiler, I see the adapter under thunderbolt and
I do see the interface in the firewire section so the Mac is seeing
the interface at least.

Any suggestions on what I could try to get this up and running?

Thanks,

Cameron.
