Hi,

I responded exactly the same to another person on other complete different forum. This person replied me He did not like to read using continuous reading but reading line by line with the cursor.Lol

That might work for people who reads every once in a while but not for heavy steady readers. Now, as I said on a previous message the only viable alternative I had found so far is book reader, which is good however you can notice it’s not designed thinking of blind people but its usability is good. You can check the review of this app on applevis.I can’t figure out how to read pdf format though.Epub, mobi, docx, rtf and txt are perfectly readable.

If you've successfully read more than a few pages, on iBooks for Mac, at a

For now, and probably a while to come, there is no easy way of reading books on the Mac.
There may be a way with Learning Ally, but there is not a way to read NLS books on the
Mac. If you have books in the EPUB format, you can use Emacspeak, with Emacs, with
Novel-mode, to read them, but this is a setup that will frustrate normal users, and is no
real solution in Apple's "it just works" way... or at least the way they were,
years ago. iBooks is aweful with accessibility, and has not changed even in the beta
versions of Mojave.
