Hi,

You could go into the Notification Centre and turn on the Do Not Disturb
feature while you're in Zoom meetings or other such work related activities.
Press VO-m-m to get to the Extras Menu, then to the far right for the
Notification Centre, select the Notifications tab, interact with the table, and
VO-left to check the box for enabling Do Not Disturb. Alternatively, go into
System Prefs, Notifications and make the more permanent modifications there.

HTH.

Hi All,

I had a quick question. I some how have notifications auto speaking when they
come in. It is really annoying especially when I’m in a meeting on zoom, the
notification blares what ever it is. Like text messages, imagine being on a
business call, and your wife/girl fireld/boy friend sending you a really
personal text? that would be really awkward? :) anyways if anyone can help me
out with this I’d greatly appreciated.

I’m on a iMac with mac os 10.14 Mojave .

Best,

Juan
