Even if I tick the box to say start vo at log in, It still doesn’t talk. My mac book air mid 2013 also speaks at the log in screan and it’s running 10.14 as I’ve not updated it yet. So I’m thinking it’s also relating to hardware and OS version Either way the important thing is to be able to get in to the machine whether it talks or not.
