This is crazy. I am almost certain I had tested this with QN on but
maybw not. That is what makes this work. Oh well lesson learned. Try
anything remotely possible.
On the issue with adding contacts, I will try to duplicate this next
time I get a caller who is not in my contacts.
Now I can move forward. (smiles)

Hi,
It sounds to me like the Logitech keyboard is still hanging on in some
fashion, even though it is powered down. I'm assuming that you've
fully powered it down, not just put it to sleep. Sorry, I don't have
one of those units to know exactly how it is set up. The
VO-fn-up/down is noted in the Apple book for sure, but I not sure if
the Option-up/down method is referenced in the book as well. I'll
have to take another look.
The book is free and easy to navigate through on an iOS device.

Tim,
This has been an interesting experience. I had no trouble with the
Apple keyboard but gave it to a friend. I got the Logitech because its
multi device which works nicely.
This morning I encountered a strange issue. I wanted to add a
contact from Recents in the phone app. Even when the edit field was
active, I could not enter characters with the onscreen keyboard. Both
the Logitech and the braille display were turned off. Yet while at the
store having my coffee, I had no trouble carrying out this task. Strange.
Is the option up/down command in an Apple Book? I've seen many
references to it in Google searches from 2017 back. Maybe I will get
the user guide from Books.

hi,
Probably your most up-to-date resource would be the Apple Books
version of iPhone or iPad User's Guide for iOS 12.1. I don't have
your model of keyboard, only an Apple wireless keyboard or the
special keyboard thing on my iPad Pro. For me, the FN-VO-up/down
will open the Notification and Control Centres, as well as the
Option-up/down while in the Status bar. I do know that some third
party keyboards don't sync as nice as others.

Recently I got the Logitech K780 keyboard and have been playing
with it on my iDevices.
First, is there an up to date list of keyboard commands for iOS?
Second, the commands for invoking the control center and
notification center is option up and down respectively, after putting
focus on the status bar. They do not work. The commands for the Apple
wireless keyboard are fn-VO-up and down also do not work on the
Logitech.
Anyone seen this? All the other commands that I tried do work, The
equivalent commands for a braille display work fine. Input please.
Thanks.
