Hi Janina and list,
First off. Thanks about answering the question regarding the product key.
That's what I thought but wanted to be sure.
Ok, here goes.
It's all about the correct iso. I was using the latest iso, the october
release. Even though I thought about running the April iso, I didn't My
reasoning was that narrator was improved after the April iso.
Any way, I spoke with someone at apple accessibility and they looked through
many different articles and finally found some info regarding using the April
iso instead of the latest image from October. It had something to do with the
latest iOS 10.14.2 on the Mac.
At any rate, after using the April iso file, I had no problems at all. In fact,
I did use narrator with headphones after I got to that point in the
installation process. I was able to complete the installation without any
sighted assistance.
Wow, does windows 10 ever fly on my mid 2014 MBP.

Thanks to everyone for helping me.
Now, I need to decide where I go from here. Do I want Home addition or Pro? Do
I still want to consider a refirbished computer. or, perhaps both. If I decide
to use the Mac only, I'll probably get a few items, like a usb hub and some
additional audio input/output devices.

Again, thanks to everyone.
BTW. I was on the phone with Apple accessibility for about 45 minutes. Thanks
to them as well.
