Umm, if you can hear sounds from the windows machine then I'm guessing your sound card is already there!
If you turn vo on the mac off and focus on being in the vm fusion machine, Try enabling narrator and then try installing jaws or NVDA. Remember that you will most likely have the UAC user access control to say yes to at the start of your installation Oh and make sure you have the volume turned up and I'd suggest installing the vm tools as well. -----Original Message----- From: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com <macvisionaries@googlegroups.com> On Behalf Of KliphnShari Miller Sent: Thursday, 17 January 2019 11:18 AM To: macvisionaries@googlegroups.com Subject: Screen reader muted in fusion? Ok, this is very strange. I can get windows installed, but narrator and jaws both can’t be heard. I can hear the chimes and windows sounds, but no screen reader. This is in vm fusion 11. Do I need some type of sound card or something? Makes no since to me since I can hear all of the windows chime and mouse clicks. Someone help please.
