I have an iPad which is fairly old now, but it nevertheless runs the latest
iOS. It's excellent for Facetime calls and for listening to podcasts or music.
I can also read mail on it.

My iPhone is much newer and faster, but the iPad remains useful for the
purposes that I've mentioned. Whehter you need or want one very much depends on
what you would use it for, and whether you think that justifies the investment.

Well, I'm now the proud owner of a 2018 iPad, and a Logictech keyboard

    Guess I'm off to play!

I can make some practice runs and make sure I csan do this on the fly. The
Focus Blue 5th as made this so simple and so far I like the wauy it all works.
For this I use the Drafts app because it opens directly to the text field.

what is the value of having both devices? What niche or need does the iPad
fill that the phone does not?
