Hi Petrus,

No it shouldn’t disappear from your phone if you cancel the music subscription.

Anything you own or manually add to your itunes music collection should stay on
your device so long as you have it in your music library and the space on the
device.
Anything you listen to from apple music wil disappear if you haven’t paid for
it.

Subject: Ripping CDs into iTunes

Hi all,
I just started copying all of my CDs into iTunes on the Mac. Must admit it is a
million times easier then doing it with iTunes on a windows machine. My
question is: Once I’ve finished ripping the CD it appears in my music App on my
iPhone along with a download button. I’m guessing this is happening because I’m
subscribed to Apple Music? If I download the album that has shown up in my
music app on the phone, will it vanish from the iPhone if I cancel my
subscription to Apple Music even though it is the same album I copied from my
CD onto my Mac? Or should I be transferring the copied album from my Mac to the
iPhone directly so I don’t need to download it?
Hope this question made sense?
Thank you,
Petrus
