Yours truly is on her second Brother multi function device in the last decade plus. Should my current printer/copier/scanner/fax die, I'm quite certain I'll just get another Brother.
Fax? Who uses fax anymore! <grin> Mine isn't hooked up, but the machine does support fax. It's all the same technology after all. PS: Mine is the model 9840DW. I got it from Newegg about 10 years ago as an open box resale for $150. In the early days I had some issues with Linux drivers, but no longer. I've never had issues on Macintosh or Windows with this machine, and it works with my Android just as well. It's a network printer, so I share it out on my network via my OpenWRT router.
