Hi,
I bought a 10,000 BTU portable AC made by Haier for my condo about 5 years
ago. I was attracted by the portability part as well. First of all, it came
with a remote control with only 6 buttons that made uning it just a matter
of memorizing the buttons. The adjustable panel that fit into the window
that the hose or hoses attached to was a bit of a pain to move from one
window to another especially if the windows were sliders and different
sizes. Emptying the condensate tank on it was an issue sometimes. If I had
it to do over again I would've opted for a dual hose unit. I think they're
more efficient. Frankly, I could've bought two small window AC's for about
the same price and might've been a better coice for a 700 square foot condo.
If I was inclined to review the thing, I would've given it 3 out of 5 stars.

You know the kind, the ones you roll around from room to room and put a
hose kit out a window. Are there any that are particularly accessible over
any others? And while we’re at it are there any that are better than
others? I’m currently looking at Honeywell products but Black & Decker and
others make them as well. Honeywell uses those flat panel, but unless
displays, but it has a remote control so I think that would help.Any help
