I generally find the universal clipboard feature called “Mail” to be more consistent if a little less efficient. That being said, you need to make sure that the following are all set: 1. Both systems are logged into the same iCloud account. 2. Bluetooth and WiFi are enabled on both systems. 3. Both systems are on the same WiFi. 4. The feature is enabled on both systems. It is possible that item 3 is not required, and in fact in one specification, I believe I read that this service sets up a temporary point to point ethernet connection. Sometimes disabling the service and re-enabling it will work.
