Hey Petrus,

It’s not a bad idea to wait,

When I worked for the university of otago we made it a rule to not update until
the first major update was released, which was within a month of Mac OS release.

This isn’t as big a thing now as beta testing is wel on to reporting issues
prior to release of production version.

As for your ability,
I’d say advanced beginner to intermediate.

That is what I intend doing, I’m quite happy to sit back and let others find
any bugs or issues with voice over. I still regard myself as a beginner and
don’t want to get any surprises. Also I’ve always used modern view in the email
app so losing the classic view doesn’t bother me.

OS X has long been replaced by macOS. No, Catalina has not yet been released,
but it should happen this week. No, there is no compelling reason to upgrade.
You can stick with Mojave and watch feedback from users.

Many believe that we have been visited
in the past. What if it were true?

Haven’t heard lately from any of the early adopters/testers of the Catalina
release. Is it stable, or are there issues with Voiceover? Is there any
compelling reason to consider upgrading from Mojave?
