Hi. Here is the battery status script. Once you've downloaded it, place it in library/scripts/voiceover. Then under Voiceover utility, do the following. 1. In the utility categories, arrow down to commanders. 2. Stop interacting and select the keyboard commander. 3. Find the add button. 4. Enter the letter you'd like to have Voiceover use to call upon the script. I use the letter B. 5. Arrow right to select what you want that key to do. For this instance we want to run an Applescript. 6. An open dialog box should pop up. Select the battery status script and you should be good to go.
