Hi, Lorie. If you want to slow the speech down without going into the Voiceover Utility, hold down the command and VO keys and press the left or right arrow until Alex says speaking rate. You can adjust the rate of the voice by holding down the command and VO keys and hitting down or up arrow to increase or decrease the speech rate. This is a quick way to adjust the speech settings for Voiceover like the voice and intonation on the fly. Hope that helps. Thanks. Katie
