Hey Donna,
Granted i have little personal experience commanding inanimate objects to do
my desires...but how about walking Siri through the process with an
extra step?
Can you ask her how many episodes you have from this podcast, then ask her
to start from the beginning?
If her listing is specific as to date, ask her to play the podcast from
that date as in
Hey siri play name of podcast dated whatever the date is?
Seems to me the more you focus on the specifics, the less confusion might
take place...perhaps?

Lol. Ok. There has to be a specific syntax that can work. I would experiment
with variations and see what happens.

I have. If I say play episode 1 of podcast X, she seems to think the podcast is
called episode 1. (Nope, I'm not kidding.) :)
Cheers,

I haven’t tried this at the moment, but have you attempted variations of what
you want SIRI to do? Maybe, “play episode 1 of the blah blah blah podcast” or
something like that. I’ve discovered with SIRI that sometimes, a slight change
of the order of words or how you ask something seems to make a big difference
in her interpretation of the command.

Hi all,
A friend recommended a podcast, and I want to listen to it while I work out. Unfortunately, even though I've
never listened to it before, when I say "Hey Siri, play Podcast X" she plays the current episode,
rather than starting with the first one. If I say "Hey Siri, play podcast X, Episode 1" she says,
"Sorry, I can't find what you're looking for." 😬 Is there any way to do this besides just air
playing it from my phone?
TIA,
Donna
