I stopped using DuoLingo after my trip last May, but in the year prior to that
it was constantly getting better for me to use. Especially with Braille
support. Around Jan 2019 they put in features that made keyboard input switch
languages based on if the answer was supposed to be in Hebrew or English. I
also saw general progress in the advertising screens being less troublesome.
When I first was using DuoLingo, when I got a spinner to get a “prize” I
couldn’t activate it with VoiceOVer, and when I received an advertisement, I
would just wait a day to use the app again, or click on No more ads and then
click on “No Thanks” for the option to pay $5/month to get no ads.
HTH,
Jonathan
