I too have a carpal tunnel issue. I also look forward to accessing the book app
with voice commands, and minimal keystrokes.

Warmly,
Hem.

Subject: Re: Controlling books on OS X with voice commands

I tried assigning the read next sentence and read prior sentence commands to
single keys in the Quick NAV and keyboard commanders, but they don’t function
and text field of iBooks for some reason. So, I then rigged up a system of a
piece of wood and a 2 1/2 pound weight to hold down the function control option
and command keys and therefore allowing me to read down and up Buy sentence
with a single key press on the up and down arrows. This will save a lot of wear
and tear on my left hand nerves.
