Hi, To add to Brad's info, for the mouse, when bottom up so that you have access to the charging port, the port would be at six o'clock and the power switch would be at about 1 o'clock. move the switch up to power on and down to power off. Similar to the keyboard as Brad explained, the initial pairing of the mouse can be done by plugging in the charge cable to your Mac.
