I heard ring only works with Alexa, not HomeKit.  Also I heard it is a door 
bell not a security camera featured device.  Yes you can see who is at your 
front door, but beyond that I wouldn’t call it a security camera.  As for your 
2nd choice, it works great according to the reviews.  Plus it is wireless and 
the battery lasts a entire year.  Only draw back is make sure the base station 
is close to your router, otherwise it will keep dropping the connection.
