Hi, If you’re getting block or sector errors, then there is a physical problem with the hardware of the disk. Basically, once this happens, the reliability of your data on that device is sketchy at best. I guess you could try to create a partition where that block is ignored, but I still would not trust the integrity of the disk for use of anything important.
