Hi, Nothing is always safe and secure. Yes, the Mac is much less susceptible to malware, but no-one can say that it is perfect, nor would it be responsible to say that it will always be.
All that being said, I don’t use malware protection software either, and have no intention of doing so in the foreseeable future. I have never had any malware on any of my Macs, nor those of my family.
