Hi, On a Mac, if you insert the CD into your drive, it should show up on the Desktop as an ejectable item. Either open the Untitled CD and check in the Status bar for the amount of remaining space (you may need to press cmd-slash to make the Status bar visible), or press cmd-i to Get Info on the CD and the available space will be listed.
