Hi, Anders:

Good to know there have been issues with Bose bluetooth in the past.
clHowever, In this instance I'm not persuaded it's the Bose because it
works perfectly well as long as I keep the Zoom app foregrounded. The
problem only occurs if I Command-TAB away to a different application
(such as Textual).

Also, The Q700 has stellar outgoing sound using 6 different builtin
microphones. Many even high quality headsets today which provide
excellent sound quality for listening to music are actually very
deficient for teleconference use. The Bose Q700 was my second choice for
just this reason.

I was on a call with my brand new Sony WH-1000XM3 headset recently,
while one of my colleagues was on the same call with his new Bose Q700.
The teleconference gave his Bose high marks, and gave my Sony a failing
grade on audio quality.

So, while I prefer listening to music on my Sony, I now always use my
Bose on teleconferences being sure to keep the Zoom application
foregrounded.

Best,

Janina

Janina
